This is not a success story polished for a stage. Owen lost a company, backed the wrong people, got things wrong in ways he names directly. The book is an honest account of formation - what pressure, failure, and no clean exit actually produce when you stay in the game long enough.

Running beneath it all is a bloodline that includes the inventor of the Owen Gun, a Rat of Tobruk, and a travelling salesman from County Antrim who ended up at the table where the Australian Constitution was written. Four generations of the same disposition.
