(Schalm) Trekofski, Ruth: - Ruth Trekofski was born into a large immigrant family on the Canadian Prairies and grew up during years marked by hardship, resilience, and faith. Over the course of her life, she and her husband served for decades in missionary work in Brazil, where they founded orphan care, literacy programs, and community development initiatives among some of the country's most marginalized populations. Known for her warmth, honesty, and quiet humor, Ruth writes with unflinching transparency about faith, grief, motherhood, and endurance. Would You Still Love Me? is her memoir.
