Gewi ist das GmbH-Recht schon oft behandelt worden, sei es in kurz gefa ten Darstellungen, die kaum über die Wiedergabe des Gesetzestextes hinausgehen, sei es in umfangreichen Lehrbüchern oder Kommentaren. Wenn die vorliegende Bearbeitung des Stoffes keineswegs die bekannten Lehrbücher des Handelsrechts entbehrlich zu machen bestrebt ist, so will sie doch mehr als eine dünne Wieder- gabe der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen mit aphoristisch eingestreutem Text sein. Die Aufgabe dieses Buches besteht vornehmlich darin. das Recht der GmbH in einer für den Kaufmann verständlichen Weise darzu- stellen, ohne jedoch auf die wissenschaftliche Grundlage zu verzich- ten. Wer es liest, soll ohne Schwierigkeiten alle Fragen, die die Gründung und die Geschäftstätigkeit einer GmbH oder die Um- wandlung in eine solche mit sich bringen, überblicken können. Dem Juristen möge die Abhandlung zur Wiederholung und Ergänzung seines Wissens dienen.
