Häufig sind für das Schicksal einer Betriebswirtschaft, für ihren künftigen Markt, die Güte ihrer Marktpolitik und ihre gesamte betriebswirtschaftspolitische Aktivität in der Periode der Marktgestal- tung entscheidend. Dabei ist nicht an das marktbeherrschende Unternehmen", son- dern an die vielen Betriebswirtschaften zu denken, die in den Spannungen zwischen sich und dem Markt die Chancen betriebs wirtschaftlicher Marktgestaltung erken- nen und sie nützen. Diese wechselseitigen Beziehungen zwischen supranationaler Marktgestaltung und Betriebswirtschaften und namentlich die Reaktionsweisen von Unternehmungen, die teils auf deduktivem Wege, teils auf dem Wege der Analyse von Fakten aus dem Einflu bereich der Europäischen Wirtschafts gemein- schaft zu ermitteln versucht worden sind, stehen im Mittelpunkt dieser Schrift, die aus einem Vortrag des Verfassers auf der Jahrestagung des Verbandes der Hoch- schullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft e. V. 1958 in Hamburg hervorgegangen ist. Die in dieser Schrift enthaltenen überlegungen sind von der Vorstellung geleitet, eine supranationale Marktgestaltung habe die Märkte der Partner zu einem voll- kommenen Binnenmarkt zusammenzufügen.
