Vorwort Diese "Einführung in die Allgemeine Volkswirtschaftslehre" ist ein Sonderdruck meines Beitrages zu dem im gleichen Verlag erschienenen "Versicherungswirtschaftlichen Studienwerk". Dieser Anla erklärt Inhalt und Charakter des Werkes, insbesondere auch die sonst nicht übliche Her- vorhebung von Phänomenen aus der Versicherungswirtschaft. Ich bin mir der Unzulänglichkeiten meines Versuches bewu t, auf etwa zweihundert Seiten eine auch nur annähernde Einführung in . all jene Problemgebiete geben zu können, die heute zu dem Wissensbereich der Allgemeinen Volks- wirtschaftslehre gerechnet werden. Die Auswahl der behandelten Probleme ist ebenso bruchstückhaft wie ihre Darstellung. Dennoch glaube ich einiges von den Grundlagen sichtbar gemacht zu haben, auf denen sich das Gebäude der modernen Volkswirtschaftslehre mit seinen weiten Fluchten erhebt. Das meiste konnte nur angedeutet werden. Dem interessierten Leser bleibt es überlassen, sich weiteren Aufschlu zu suchen. Das Literaturverzeichnis enthält neben den bekannten Lehrbüchern in der Hauptsache nur Veröffentlichungen, auf die im Text Bezug genommen ist. Es erstrebt keine Vollständigkeit.
