This book explores governance issues in halal logistics and supply chain management, looking at areas of policy development, key challenges, and best practices for the industry.

The book begins with an analysis of halal policy frameworks, governance structures, and the role of public-private partnerships in shaping effective policies. Offering insights into the harmonization of global standards and certifications for halal compliance, it then addresses the key challenges faced in the implementation of halal logistics and supply chains, including fraud, traceability issues, consumer trust, and policy fragmentation. The book then delves into the implications of digital transformation, sustainability, and ethical practices, providing perspectives from diverse markets, such as Asia, Brazil, Korea, and Spain. It also discusses strategies for advancing halal logistics, including branding through transparency and traceability and leveraging technology for the future of halal supply chains. Concluding with actionable recommendations, the book provides a roadmap for stakeholders to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities in the global halal market.

The book is an essential resource for higher education institutions in Muslim countries, as well as researchers of halal logistics and supply chain management.
