About The Author

Dr Solveig Randhahn est directrice de la Faculte des Sciences Sociales a l'Universite de Duisburg-Essen en Allemagne. Elle a etudie les sciences politiques, la philologie espagnole et les politiques economiques a l'Universite de Munster. Elle a obtenu un doctorat en sciences politiques et a mene des recherches sur l'enseignement et la politique sociale en Allemagne. De plus, elle est experte agreee en gestion de l'enseignement et des sciences. Elle a deja fait preuve d'une vaste experience pratique dans le domaine de la gestion de la qualite dans les etablissements d'enseignement superieur. Elle a ete responsable du Centre de services et d'information de l'Institut des sciences politiques et a travaille au Departement du developpement de la qualite de l'enseignement et de l'apprentissage a l'Universite de Munster. Ensuite, elle a travaille a l'Universite des Sciences appliquees a Aachen, ou elle a coordonne les processus d'agrement de l'Universite et a conseille la direction de l'Universite en matiere de politiques d'enseignement et d'apprentissage dans l'enseignement superieur. Depuis janvier 2014, Dr Randhahn travaille a l'Universite de Duisburg- Essen. Au Centre pour le developpement de l'enseignement superieur et le renforcement de la qualite (CHEDQE), elle a gere le projet TrainIQAfrica (Training on Internal Quality Assurance in West Africa - Formation sur l'assurance qualite interne en Afrique de l'Ouest), qui vise a renforcer les capacites dans le domaine de l'assurance qualite interne (AQI) dans les etablissements d'enseignement superieur en organisant des ateliers pratiques pour les responsables de l'AQ des etablissements d'enseignement superieur de l'Afrique de l'Ouest. En mars 2016 elle est devenue Directrice de la Faculte des Sciences Social et en juin 2016 elle etait elue Doyenne de l'Enseignement et d'Apprentissage de la Faculte.
