Le baromètre de satisfaction est nécessaire dans les démarches qualité des entreprises. Nous présentons quelques modèles (économiques et psychologiques) et les théories qui sous tendent nos travaux (représentations sociales, logique floue) avant de décrire le modèle proposé par la méthode REMODSET. La notion de vague sémantique montre que la logique floue est la plus adaptée pour ce type de problème. La méthode REMODSET issue des dernières recheches dans la logique floue permet de prendre en compte le raisonnement humain avec sa plus ou moins grande sévérité. Il est possible de construire les fonctions d'appartenance des appréciations à partir de leur représentation sociale, puis d'agréger les questions pour obtenir une évaluation globale qui, après déflouification sera compréhensible en langage clair. La comparaison avec un baromètre classique permet de vérifier la cohérence entre les deux méthodes. Avantage par rapport aux statistique (issues de la logique binaires), la logique floue, permet de travailler sur un seul questionnaire, et d'utiliser l'évaluation "je ne sais pas" qui conduit à l'élimination du questionnaire avec les statistiques classiques.
