A. Minnis, Tia: - Dr. Tia A. Minnis is a higher education leader and expert in assessment, institutional effectiveness, and continuous improvement. With nearly two decades of experience across diverse institutions-including public and private universities, HBCUs, and PWIs-she has served in key leadership roles, including Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice Provost for Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning, and positions within Student Affairs. These experiences have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of both the academic and co-curricular landscape of higher education. Known for her practical, results-driven approach, Dr. Minnis specializes in building cultures of accountability, fostering stakeholder buy-in, and aligning assessment with institutional mission and outcomes. Her work bridges theory and practice, grounded in her unwavering commitment to student success as the highest priority in her career.
