La distance et la vitesse des bus sont �galement des facteurs qui entravent la communication. Afin d'�liminer ces barri�res linguistiques, cet ouvrage pr�sente un syst�me de d�nomination alphanum�rique parall�lement au syst�me de d�nomination des lignes existant. Dans le cadre d'un projet pilote, ce syst�me a �t� mis en oeuvre dans le district de Kannur, au sud de l'Inde, � l'initiative de l'administration du district. Il a �t� tr�s bien accueilli, en particulier par les m�dias et, de mani�re g�n�rale, par le public. La logique du syst�me peut �tre facilement mise en oeuvre dans n'importe quel pays sans grande difficult�. Cet ouvrage pr�sente les diff�rentes phases de mani�re m�ticuleuse et claire.
