W�hrend eine terrestrische Standortbestimmung rasch zeigt, ob die Werte von Kurs und Fahrt f�r diesen Zweck richtig an- genommen wurden, jedenfalls dann, wenn man nahe genug unter Land ist, um h�ufig Landziele messen zu k�nnen, ist dies mit Hilfe von Funk- und Astro-beobachtungen nicht so leicht m�glich. Zweck der vorliegenden Untersuchung ist es, �ber Erfahrungen mit verschiede- nen Funkortungsverfahren f�r die Aufgaben der Navigation zu berichten, wie sie sich unter Bedingungen des Seegebietes mittlere und n�rdliche Nordsee er- geben. Die Genauigkeit, mit der sich Kurs und Fahrt aus zwei aufeinander- folgenden Standortbestimmurtgen ableiten lassen, l� t sich theoretisch bestimmen.
