About The Book

The book investigates the multitude of metro and its contribution to the city not only as a functional infrastructure but also as an urbanistic project with the potential of transforming the urban space through an extreme case of Zhengzhou, which contains the arguably one of the most important infrastructural history in China. Busquets, Joan: - Joan Busquets, a world-renowned urban planner and architect, is the first Martin Bucksbaum Professor in Practice of Urban Planning and Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Yang, Dingliang: - Dingliang Yang is currently a teaching fellow and research associate, as well as a Doctor of Design Candidate at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He is the founding principal of VARY Design.
