He has been President of Haryana Economic Association since its inception in 1979 to date. He has been member of Boards of Studies and of Faculties of various Universities in the region. He is Member of the Haryana State Planning Board. He has authored Agricultural Taxation in Haryana and three volumes of Economics of Public Finance. More than a dozen of his scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degrees and many more M.Phil, degrees for their dissertations.
