Message for Mom and Dad
Nature imprints on the person an elementary principle of the defense of his own being (survival). This mechanism complicates behavior in the social space. There, one's own desires and those of others multiply to establish domination or refuse to feel limited in their own self. That is, in a natural way there is a war of selfishness driven by the self-defense of the being. Nature conditions humans to their own construction and, sometimes, to their destruction. Therefore, the person can be educated and achieve a higher, more diverse and richer structure. Learning is the engine that has led society to its current dynamism. People who are experts in human formation say that temperament in people is innate; but character is forged by each individual; through family and social influence, where religious, school, cultural groups, state policies, etc. have had an impact and, for several decades, through the presence and reach of the media and social networks. There are many studies or theories that try to clarify the structures of human behavior; but such remains a mystery, although it can be said that there are patterns of behavior. In the face of the ways of being of older or younger people, under the stimulus or stimuli received, it cannot be said that the reactions or responses of individuals are the same. In other words, there are no one hundred percent effective recipes to guarantee a good education under established methods. "Each person is different." Our intimacy moves in a complex mechanism of passions, desires, struggles, deliberations that occur when we are in the world, and imposes conditions and stimuli in concrete and dispersed presents. Life shouldn't just be about surviving. To live is to provide the means to be well or to improve the conditions in which one is born. Being well or living well should not be based on having things. Materialism, it has been proven, is ephemeral. The material expires or ceases to be useful. Although it must be recognized that we should not do without sustenance. Work, shelter, clothing, food; even the practice of recreational activities or hobbies. "Everything with measure." There are abstract concepts that, because they are immaterial, last over time. Spirituality and love in the human being is something that is there to explore and live. There are good habits and bad habits; the former are known as virtues and the latter as vices. A person who has a reputation for being just is the one who demonstrates justice with his actions. Just as good customs, values and virtues contribute to collective growth, vices become a burden for the good development of a family and a community. Metaphorically speaking: "all in one boat, each one contributing talent, work and good atmosphere; to overcome limitations, storms and reach a good port". Instruction or academic education is necessary; but a good attitude, values and virtues are indispensable in the family and the community. It is important that they are promoted at home; but also in schools, State institutions and civil society. If there is a virtue to be promoted in the family and in the community, it is charity, which, in other words, is love of neighbor. If children see that Mom and Dad love each other, they feel safe. The one who has the good habit of charity: forgives, understands, respects, trusts, sympathizes and is happy to see that others around him are well. All proportion kept, the ultimate goal of this Book of Poetry and Children's Stories is, in a modest way, to inspire us to live and be well in the world, to recognize our dependence and to accept that the talents of the entire community, added together, make us stronger to fight and emerge victorious in the face of life's challenges.• Author(s): Clear | James • Publisher: Penguin • Publisher Imprint: Penguin Random House • Subject: General Books
