Augustine, Elisabeth: - Elly is a motion designer and illustrator who recently graduated from Ringling College of Arts and Design with a BFA in motion design and a minor in Art History. It has always been her dream to illustrate a children's book and is thrilled to have been part of this special project.

Hassenfratz, Ej: - EJ Hassenfratz is an award-wining digital artist and educator who specializes in motion graphics, specifically highlighting his passion for character animations. In addition to helping conceptualize the characters in this book, he also has created a pug vinyl toy, stickers, hats and plushies. He hopes to keep Gus' memory alive through his artistic endeavors.

Hassenfratz, Melanie R.: - Melanie is a former special education teacher who spent 16 years supporting and inspiring children of all abilities to find a love for reading. With a lifelong love of storytelling, she has always dreamed of writing a children's book.Gus the Pug Wants a Hug is especially close to her heart, inspired by her beloved pug, Gus, who lived a long and happy 17.5 years.
