But the owner of the hotel, Mr. Beetle, is a rather grumpy and solemn character, and he insists that every guest follow his strict Book of Rules.

Molly the moth dreams of stargazing, and Billie the bee would like to make honey for the other guests--but the Book of Rules forbids their fun.

When the guests finally challenge Mr. Beetle, he becomes so upset by the thought of change that he runs off, leaving the hotel in disarray. Can the bugs find their missing host and show him that life is about more than just following rules?

About The Author

Manu Montoya was born in Medellín, Colombia, in 1990. She studied Graphic Design and Advertising in her hometown and Art Direction in Barcelona, where she lives. She grew up both in the city and the country and spent most of her childhood drawing, playing with plants and animals, and exploring the woods. Manu has worked for advertising agencies and as an illustrator for SM editorial, Cruïlla, Penguin Random House, Usborne, Little Brown, Candlewick, and others. She loves working with gouache, colored pencils, ink, and digital media.
