Dillin, Darci: - Darci Dillin is a first-time author and co-founder of the African Farmers Market initiative. Working with founder, John Tate, she helped transform the early vision of the project into a growing effort to connect African farmers. artists, and communities with the world. The Mary was inspired by the women whose work forms the foundation of rural agricultural life. Darci lives in Colorado with her family and animals.

Omondi, Benard: - Benard Omondi is a contemporary visual artist from Kenya known for his bold textures and expressive storytelling. Raised in Kiberia, his work explores themes of identity, resilience, and hope through layered painting and powerful imagery. His illustrations for The Mary reflect his passion for sharing meaningful stories through art and connecting people across cultures.
