About The Author

Boren, Lucky: - Writing, drawing, and making up stories have always been passions of mine. I first discovered how much fun creating children's books could be when my friend asked me to tell them bedtime stories and I started inventing them on the spot. As a kid, books by Keiko Kasza, Inga Moore, and Gertrude Chandler Warner were my favorites. At the time of publishing this, I'm a high school senior with a passion for both creativity and the brain. So, it was fun building a playful story that gently touches on sleep, from snoring and nightmares to sleepwalking and staying up too late. I hope this book brings joy, laughter, and a little curiosity to readers of all ages.

Shashikiran, Dia: - The body's moving parts have always fascinated me, which is why I joined my school's emergency medical technician program as a senior in high school. I brought some of that curiosity into this project to help us find a way to tell a silly, imaginative story about sleep while still touching on how our bodies and brains can behave at night. Figuring out how to make the colors appeasing to kids but also reflect the night was definitely fun and fun reminds me of the stories I like when I was younger. One of which was called Morris Goes to School by B. Wiseman. I hope this book can give kids laughter and a reason to read like Morris Goes to School did for me.
