Inspired by her daughter, Moira-who has Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI), KAT6B, and cerebral palsy-Rachel's mission is to make storytime accessible, joyful, and inclusive for every child.Through Little Dandelion Press, Rachel has authored the Habitat Series (What Lives in the Ocean?, What Lives in the Desert?, What Lives in the Rainforest?), the My First Alphabet Book collection, and several first-of-their-kind CVI-friendly learning tools. She also serves as editor and creative director for the Seasons Are... series by Amy Shepherd, M.Ed., and other contributing authors-helping shape each title's visual and linguistic accessibility through her expertise in CVI-informed design.Rachel's books are featured in classrooms, therapy centers, and homes worldwide and are part of the NAPA Center's CVI Kit, supporting children with visual impairments and sensory needs across multiple continents.
