At school, Kingsley Ogedengbe grew faster, taller and bigger than all of the children in his year and the year above him. By the age of eleven he was already 6 feet 1 inch tall and wearing size 11 shoes. He was nicknamed 'The Gentle Giant'owning to his calm presence and caring attitude towards others.


Fast forward to today and you will see that he is taller, stronger and still calm. His journey through life as a personal trainer and life coach has led him to live and work in exotic places like India, Singapore and Thailand.


However, it was later in life, when he became a father (he now has three children), that he discovered he enjoyed teaching children life skills. This book is a continuation of that vocation.


Let's Become Emotional First Aiders aims to inspire parents wishing to boost their child's level of confidence, and their ability to determine what to do when someone becomes emotionally hurt. Equipping your child with these skills can also help increase their popularity amongst their family members and school friends. By covering common topics - worry, stress, bullying, rejection, sadness and peer mentoring - your child can be better prepared to deal with these issues should they arise.

Ogedengbe, Kingsley: - First Aid Trainer and father of three, Kingsley Ogedengbe, has been successfully delivering paediatric and First Aid training courses to parents, school teachers, colleges, childminders and nurseries through his own company and various other well-known training companies. Originally from south-east London, Kingsley is a former British athlete, becoming Greater London 400 Metres Champion in 1989. He then moved on to study to become a life coach and personal trainer, specialising in diabetes and obesity management. In 2005 he launched the renowned Kimantra urban spa in London, which the Evening Standard voted one of London's top urban spas to visit. After eleven years in the beauty and spa world he turned his attention to becoming a First Aid trainer, launching Primrose First Aid Training. Kingsley is a member of one of the UK's largest independent approved First Aid training centres, with Ofqual and SQA regulation. His style of teaching has earned him a reputation as a dynamic, creative and charismatic trainer.
