A tiny doll named Robin lived happily in the forest where the small wild creatures all loved her, and she loved every squirrel and rabbit and bird. Then one day a girl named Susan saw Robin lying among the leaves and took the tiny doll home with her. Susan wasn't a little girl who could hear dolls talk and never heard Robin shouting, "Put me down, put me down. I live in the woods. It's my home!"
