It has taken me more than four years to complete this picture book. I ask for thirty seconds of your attention to go through the essence of my work.

I am blessed to be born in an artistic family where I learnt the various moods and emotions of colors. Equipped with that hereditary gift and mercy of Almighty, I could complete this journey of Art. I have written many poems in English, Bengali and in Hindi. One Hindi poetry book "ARPAN" was published in 1997, but this is my dream book. In this book, I want to catch the attention of kids towards our golden ethics, which seek to resolve questions of human morality by defining concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime. I think your thirty seconds time is over and hope you are now ready to embark upon this pictorial journey with me.

Champak Bhattacharya is an artist and a poet awarded at various State, National and International level platforms. His rich body of work is based on realistic depiction spread across various art styles like Water color, pen sketch, wood carvings etc. In the year 1997 his poetry book "ARPAN" published at Bhopal (M.P) by Padao Prakashan and released by a poet Kamleshwar.

The Artist belongs to a family of extremely gifted and genius artists. Artist's Father Late Shri Ajit Bhattacharya is known to have pioneered the now famous "Wood Carvings" of Bastar with Tribal Motifs. This upbringing and background has enabled the artist to master many art forms like Water color, Oil color, Clay modeling, Wood carving, Fabric paining, Paper crafts, Pastel work etc. The artist has worked closely on the lifestyle & culture of the Mariya Muriya tribes of Bastar, Chhattisgarh and majority of his work is hugely inspired and based on the same.
