El Anzuelo de Fenisa es una destacada obra del prolífico escritor español Lope de Vega. En este relato, Lope de Vega demuestra su maestría adaptando un argumento de Bocaccio, famoso escritor italiano conocido por su colección de cuentos "El Decamerón". En esta narrativa, una cortesana astuta, Fenisa, engaña a los ingenuos con su picardía, pero a su vez, es burlada por otro personaje, en un giro irónico de los eventos.
Este tema de la cortesana engañadora que eventualmente es burlada, ha sido un favorito entre los escritores a lo largo de los siglos, evidenciando su perdurable atractivo. No solo Lope de Vega se inspiró en Bocaccio, sino también Vicente Espinel, un contemporáneo de Lope, abordó este tema en su obra Vida del escudero Marcos de Obregón.
Lope de Vega y Espinel tomaron la misma premisa de Bocaccio y la adaptaron en sus respectivos contextos y estilos. Aunque ambas obras, El Anzuelo de Fenisa y Vida del escudero Marcos de Obregón, giran en torno a la misma idea, cada autor infunde su propia perspectiva y voz, resultando en dos narraciones distintas y enriquecedoras.
En su obra, Lope de Vega une su dominio del lenguaje y su habilidad para retratar las emociones humanas, ofreciendo una adaptación fascinante y cautivadora de la trama de Bocaccio. Asimismo, Espinel, con su distintivo estilo picaresco, presenta su versión del tema con una agudeza y humor característicos.
Así, El Anzuelo de Fenisa no solo es una pieza literaria intrigante en sí misma, sino también un ejemplo de cómo los temas literarios trascienden el tiempo y las fronteras, y cómo los diferentes autores pueden dar nueva vida y perspectivas a las historias que comparten.
Felix Lope de Vega y Carpio (Madrid, 1562-Madrid, 1635). Espana. Nacio en una familia modesta, estudio con los jesuitas y no termino la universidad en Alcala de Henares, parece que por asuntos amorosos. Tras su ruptura con Elena Osorio (Filis en sus poemas), su gran amor de juventud, Lope escribio libelos contra la familia de esta. Por ello fue procesado y desterrado en 1588, ano en que se caso con Isabel de Urbina (Belisa). Paso los dos primeros anos en Valencia, y luego en Alba de Tormes, al servicio del duque de Alba. En 1594, tras fallecer su esposa y su hija, fue perdonado y volvio a Madrid. Alli tuvo una relacion amorosa con una actriz, Micaela Lujan (Camila Lucinda) con la que tuvo mucha descendencia, hecho que no impidio su segundo matrimonio, con Juana Guardo, del que nacieron dos hijos. Entonces era uno de los autores mas populares y aclamados de la Corte. En 1605 entro al servicio del duque de Sessa como secretario, aunque tambien actuo como intermediario amoroso de este. La desgracia marco sus ultimos anos: Marta de Nevares una de sus ultimas amantes quedo ciega en 1625, perdio la razon y murio en 1632. Tambien murio su hijo Lope Felix. La soledad, el sufrimiento, la enfermedad, o los problemas economicos no le impidieron escribir.
