Not every superhero wears a cape or soars above. You can save the world today by filling it with love.

What does it take to be a superhero? In The Day the Children Saved the World, children from all walks of life-and from every letter of the alphabet-save the world through gestures of kindness, love, and respect. From Ayva's act of selflessness to Zahira's generous affection, readers are introduced to a diverse cast of characters who showcase the power of positivity in shaping a better world for us all. By performing simple but profound tasks, the children demonstrate that even the smallest actions can make a significant impact.

As they join children from all over the globe in their quest to save the world-one act of kindness at a time-young readers will be inspired to embrace the idea that love is the ultimate tool for change. The Day the Children Saved the World is a heartwarming and beautifully illustrated reminder that every one of us, regardless of age, is capable of leaving a lasting imprint of compassion on the world.

Hall, Phil: - Phil Hall is an elementary school principal who realized during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic that young people need to learn the value of prosocial behavior-acting in ways that benefit others-more than anything. That is when he wrote the first draft of The Day the Children Saved the World, hoping he could spread his message to kids everywhere. Phil lives in Rutland, Vermont, with his fiancée, Alice. Between the two of them, they have four young boys-Jackson, Lincoln, Harrison, and LJ-and two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and playing with his kids.
