The book is very useful for the students, teachers, researchers and scholars, working in colleges and universities. It has been written according to syllabi prescribed for postgraduage and undergraduate level in Arts, Commerce, Law and Labour Faculties. It combines labour theories and labour problems. It includes recent labour issues like labour problems of economic reforms, female and child labour. A lot of reference work has been done for preparing this book, yet the language and style are very simple and lucid.
The book seeks to serve as an ideal textbook for the students and a very useful reference book for the teachers, researchers, labour leaders, executives concerned with labour in the government, private and public sector as well as the common readers.
