About the author Professor Ben Green is a Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychiatric Intensive Care at Cheadle Royal Hospital, Visiting Professor at the University of Chester and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Liverpool. He has designed and taught on undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychiatry, and has researched post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. He is an undergraduate examiner for the University of Liver Pool and a postgraduate examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is a medico-legal expert and has published 10 books. He has edited Psychiatry On-line since 1994.
