About The Author

Lisa Spinelli is a Content Manager and Job Bank administrator at ATD as well as the manager of the veteran workshop Troops to Trainers. Before coming to ATD, she worked as a content strategist, editor, and journalist for over 14 years, managing teams, websites, and social media accounts as well as reporting and editing articles for organizations and media outlets. Her work has been published with Fast Company, Red Herring, Huffington Post, Boston Phoenix, Mental Floss, Northern Virginia Magazine, Houston Chronicle, and the Associated Press, to name a few. Lisa grew up in Rome, Italy, and is a dual citizen of the United States and Italy. She currently resides in Northern Virginia with her three tiny divas and Air Force veteran husband.
