Prof. Meena Sodhi, M.A. (English), Ph.D. (English), Former Principal and Professor of English (Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi), has more than 47 years of experience in Teaching, Research, and Administration. She is Officer on Special Duty at MMV, BHU, since October 2013 with the task of upgrading the College into an Institute. In the field of teaching and research, her area of specialization includes Romantic Critical Theory, Indian Autobiographies in English, Indian Drama, and Modern British Drama. Her books on Coleridge’s Theory of Poetry and Indian English Writing: The Autobiographical Mode are very popular among the students and teachers of English Literature.
