About The Author

Gurdy Leete has been a computer animator, animation software engineer, and teacher of computer animation since 1981. He teaches Flash and other programs. He has been using Open Source software for years, including OpenOffice.org. Mr. Leete is the co-author of a plug-in for The GIMP, an open source image editor. Ellen Finkelstein has written numerous best-selling computer books on AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint, and Flash and provides training on these programs. She is an avid user of OpenOffice.org and maintains her own Web site at www.ellenfinkelstein.com. Mary Leete (Fairfield, IA) was a contributing author to 50 Fast Flash MX Techniques and used OpenOffice.org extensively to design and build her new log home.
