About The Author

John Cecca Jr. grew up in East Boston, Massachusetts and survived a strict Salesian Catholic High School Education. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He worked in the airfreight industry at Logan International Airport upon graduation. Feeling trapped, after many years working and feeling that his life was unfulfilled and hollow, he changed his direction. He took on a new challenge as a Junior High School teacher. For four years he taught at small Catholic Elementary School, where he met the most amazing people who have inspired him to write and tell stories through the eyes of children. In his works look for characters with high moral values acted through every day living. He puts an emphasis on family, and its importance of nourishing love, and creating positive bonds. The philosophy of the DAZE series is to introduce to the reader a series of novels that offer excitement, adventure and learning. Living and learning through reading!
