Y duran te sus más de 400 millones de años, los tiburones han adoptado formas y modos de vida increíbles, como el angelote, un escualo plano que se esconde entre la arena y ataca en un parpadeo, el tiburón toro, que puede nadar en agua salada y en agua dulce, o el pequeño y misterioso tiburón linterna, que brilla hipnóticamente en las profundidades del océano.

Join us on board of the Subacuaticus, our yellow submersible, to take a closer look at these and other species of sharks, and learn everything you can about them while you dance and sing at the rhythm of Tiburockcito Filarmónico.

Few animals create such excitement as sharks. This group of fish has been on our planet for a very long time, since before humans, dinosaurs, and even the first trees even existed. And during their more than 400 million years, sharks have adopted many incredible shapes and ways of life, like that of the angel shark, a flat shark that hides in the sand and attacks in the blink of an eye; the bull shark, that can swim in both saltwater and freshwater, or the little mysterious lantern shark, that glows hypnotically in the ocean depths.

About The Author

Paula Ríos Compositora, cantante y profesora de música, con énfasis en educación inicial, nacida en Medellín y radicada desde 2007 en Bogotá. Es creadora y voz líder del grupo de música para niños Tu Rockcito, que se enfoca en el desarrollo de proyectos pedagógicos, creativos y musicales. Con su grupo, Paula ha realizado numerosos eventos en vivo y grabado cinco producciones discográficas dirigidos a toda la familia; además, la banda fue ganadora del Grammy Latino 2021, en la categoría de Mejor Álbum de Música Latina para Niños, con la producción Tu Rockcito filarmónico. Es fanática de las aves, el rock y los dinosaurios.

Mireya Osorio Bióloga de la Universidad de los Andes con maestría en negocios. Trabaja en proyectos de investigación para descubrir nuevas ideas y unir distintas perspectivas. Le apasiona crear espacios diversos donde científicos y comunidad colaboran. También trabaja en temas de divulgación científica, combinando creación, arte y ciencia.

Carlos Guarnizo. Biólogo de la Universidad de los Andes con doctorado de la Universidad de Texas en Austin. Su amor por los animales de piel fría y babosa se combina con su entusiasmo por explorar los misterios del ADN.
