Si madurar es difícil, hacerlo en medio de un caos epidemiológico y ante una amenaza hacia la seguridad nacional es aún más complicado, aunque tal vez sea la única esperanza para sobrevivir.

Bosco es hijo único, pero suele platicar con su hermana imaginaria. A pesar de embrollarse con sus propias mentiras, es aceptado en una nueva escuela y ahora debe terminar sus estudios si no quiere acabar como cargador (aunque la idea lo seduce un poco). Tiene una familia en la que sus padres se quieren y lo quieren, y él lo que desea es que se divorcien. Así es el mundo de Bosco, un adolescente como puede serlo cualquiera, pero su vida (y la de todos) cambiará drásticamente cuando se desate una epidemia de influenza atípica y tenga que quedarse en cuarentena con su amiga Moscamuerta, experta en programación de videojuegos y en defensa personal.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

If growing up is difficult, doing so in the midst of epidemiological crisis and during a national security threat is even more complicated, although it may be the only hope for survival.

Bosco is an only child, but he often talks with his imaginary sister. Despite getting tangled up with his own lies, he is accepted into a new school and must now finish his studies if he doesn't want to end up as a delivery man (although the idea seduces him a bit). He has a caring family in which his parents love each other and love him, but what he wants is for them to get divorced.

This is Bosco's world, a teenager as any other, but his life (and everyone else's) will change drastically when an atypical influenza epidemic breaks out and he has to stay in quarantine with his friend who looks like she wouldn't kill a fly but is an expert in video game programming and Self Defense.

About The Author

Andrés Acosta ha escrito cuento, novela, literatura infantil y juvenil, y guiones para cine y televisión. Estudió Derecho en la UNAM. Ha sido coordinador de talleres de creación literaria y lectura para la UNAM, el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, la Universidad Iberoamericana, la Asociación de Escritores de México, Sogem, Casa Lamm, Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana y de talleres por Internet para Televisa y las librerías Un Lugar de la Mancha; secretario general de la AEM y jefe de redacción de la revista Punto de partida. Parte de su obra ha sido traducida al inglés, alemán y griego. Becario del FONCA en el programa de Apoyo a Jóvenes Creadores, en la especialidad de novela, 1998; Creador con Trayectoria del FOECA-Guerrero, 1999; y artista seleccionado para el programa Artes por todas partes de la Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno del Distrito Federal, en 2002 y 2004. Artista residente en Colombia 2001, Yucatán 2002, Canadá 2003 y Austria 2006, por el FONCA y los gobiernos de esas entidades. Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte desde 2011.
