Das zweite Buch in der 'Erinnerung and die Zukunft' Reihe. Dieses Buch belegte den zweiten Platz als bester Jugend-Fantasy-Roman bei der Preis-Verleihung 2018 durch den Book Talk Radio Club in England.

Brickwood, Evadeen: - Evadeen Brickwood wuchs in Karlsruhe mit zwei Schwestern auf und studierte in Marburg und Berlin Sprachen und Kulturwissenschaften. Als junge Frau unternahm sie ausgiebige Reisen ins Ausland und viele ihrer Bücher basieren auf Erfahrungen, die sie bei dieser Gelegenheit sammelte. Die Autorin zog 1988 nach Afrika, mit einer Ausbildung zur Übersetzerin und einer ordentlichen Portion Abenteuerlust im Gepäck. Sie arbeitete zwei Jahre in Botswana als Sekretärin und Sprachlehrerin, wollte danach wieder nach Europa zurückzukehren, beschloss dann aber sich in Südafrika niederzulassen. In Johannesburg traf sie ihren deutschen Mann, heiratete und bekam zwei Töchter. Evadeen Brickwood studierte auch Informatik und Training-Management, arbeitete als freiberuflicher Software-Trainerin und Beraterin für Firmen, sowie als Übersetzerin und Referentin an der WITS-Universität. Im Jahr 2003 begann sie mit dem Schreiben von Jugendromanen in der Serie "Erinnerung an die Zukunft", bei der es um Abenteuer in der grauen Vorzeit und vergessene Zivilisationen geht. Zwei Verlage veröffentlichten die Werke, bis Evadeen Brickwood begann, im Jahr 2013 selbst zu verlegen. Die englische Ausgabe von "Kinder des Mondes" mit dem Titel "Children of the Moon" wurde in Südafrika zweimal veröffentlicht und gewann den Book Talk Radio Club Preis für Besten Science Fiction Roman des Jahres 2017 in England.
