Burke, Kealan Patrick: - Hailed by BOOKLIST as "one of the most clever and original talents in contemporary horror," Kealan Patrick Burke was born and raised in Ireland and emigrated to the United States a few weeks before 9/11. Since then, he has written six novels, among them the popular southern gothic slasher KIN, and over two hundred short stories and novellas, including PEEKERS, SOUR CANDY, BLANKY, and THE HOUSE ON ABIGAIL LANE, all of which have been optioned for film.
A five-time Bram Stoker Award-nominee, Burke won the award in 2005 for his coming-of-age novella THE TURTLE BOY, the first book in the acclaimed Timmy Quinn series.
As editor, he helmed the anthologies NIGHT VISIONS 12, TAVERNS OF THE DEAD, and QUIETLY NOW, a tribute anthology to one of Burke's influences, the late Charles L. Grant.
He is currently at work on a new novel, MR. STITCH.
He lives in an unhaunted house in Ohio with a Scooby Doo lookalike rescue pup named Red.
Niles, Steve: - Steve Niles is a writer, best known for works such as 30 Days of Night, October Faction, Criminal Macabre, Simon Dark, Frankenstein Alive! Alive! and Batman: Gotham County Line. The success of 30 Days of Night sparked renewed interest in the comic horror genre after it was released as a major motion picture in 2007. His ongoing comic series, The October Faction, was made into a Netlix TV show in 2020. Steve got his start in the comic industry when he formed his own publishing company, Arcane Comix, where he published, edited and adapted several comics and anthologies, including works by Clive Barker, Richard Matheson and Harlan Ellison. Steve resides outside Los Angeles with his wife, Monica, four dogs, three cats and Gil the tortoise.
Richard, Sara: - Sara Richard is an Eisner and Ringo Award nominated artist and writer currently living her best life with ghosts in Salem, MA. She is inspired by Victorian short stories, the Art Deco style, 80's design, and is obsessed with owls. When she's not creating art, Sara hangs out with strange animals at a small zoo, can be found cleaning gravestones with her mom, or slaying some AC/DC, Heart or Mötley Crüe at karaoke.
Sara is the illustrator of The Ghost, The Owl (Action Lab) and Kitty & Dino (Yen Press) and her art can be found on over 80 covers of My Little Pony (IDW). Sara has also illustrated covers for Rick & Morty (Oni Press), Clue (IDW), Bob's Burgers (Dynamite), Jem And The Holograms (IDW), Deadpool (Marvel) and is the illustrator of the Justice League Tarot Card Set from DC Collectables. Sara's gallery work can frequently be seen at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles and scattered around Salem (where she is the 11th great-grand daughter of the Witch Trial victim, Margaret Scott).
