Gilraen Eärfalas was born in Chilpancingo, Guerrero. She is a clinical analysis technician, general practitioner, and writer. Her literary career began in 2012, with a blog where she wrote letters and short stories, and in 2016 she launched a YouTube channel to share poems in audiovisual format. Two years later, she self-published Desfibrilador (2018), her first book, in which she blended her two passions: medicine and poetry. In addition to her self-published works, Gilraen is the author of successful novels on Wattpad.
