Bhargava, Santosh K.: - Santosh K. Bhargava is a leading consultant in paediatrics and neonatology. He is a former National President of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics; Founder President, National Neonatology Forum, India; Professor and Head, Department of Paediatrics, University College of Medical Sciences and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi; Editor, Indian Paediatrics.

He has been a member of several prestigious committees, such as the World Health Organization; Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, National Children Board, Planning Commission, Government of India, and Indian Council of Medical Research.

Prof. Bhargava has been a recipient of several research grants from national and international organizations such as the Indian Council of Medical Research and Department of Biotechnology, Government of India; National Center for Health Statistics, USA; Bill Gates Foundation; British Heart Foundation and Wellcome Trust, UK. He has published over 200 research papers in national and international accredited peerreviewed journals. His primary research focuses on child health, newborns and public health issues. His contributions have been recognized by numerous national and international awards.
