It is based on Professor Iwegbu's 36 years' experience of treating patients with bone diseases and fractures. The theme is "understanding and coping with" bone problems, because the aim is to help the affected person cope through understanding the problem better. The book also touches upon alternative remedies for some bone problems, which orthodox orthopaedics shies away from. There is a glossary of medical terms in the last chapter.
