Olaf Scharf hat sein Studium der Elektrotechnik an der Fachhochschule Frankfurt/Main absolviert. Anschließend hat er ein Unternehmen im Bereich der Informations- und Gebäudetechnologie gegründet. Nach verschiedenen Fortbildungen im Bereich Projektmanagement, Fachplanungen und Sachverständigenwesen hat er sich beruflich durch die Gründung des Ingenieurbüros OS-Engineering neu ausgerichtet. Da er sich schon seit einigen Jahren mit der Thematik Elektrobiologie beschäftigt, war es ein logischer Schritt, im Jahr 2017 das Ingenieurbüro um diesen Bereich zu erweitern. So entstand das Ingenieurbüro für Gebäudetechnologie und Elektrobiologie. Olaf Scharf ist im Bereich Elektrobiologie auch als Referent tätig. Auch das Thema "Bauen unter Berücksichtigung von elektrobiologischen Gesichtspunkten" ist ein Schwerpunkt seiner Vorträge. Er spricht regelmäßig bei namhaften Verbänden, Städten und Landkreisen sowie Gesundheitsmessen und anderen Veranstaltungen.
