Our lives have become more stressful than ever as we try to achieve more, fit more into our days and earn more. Regular Yoga practice encourages the ability and opportunity to slow down, experience gratitude in everyday life as well as a long-lasting, profound and positive effect on our health and wellbeing.
The author, Sarah Dawson, is a Sivananda Yoga Teacher and has practiced Yoga for many years. Everyday Yoga is for people who have already done some Yoga as well as those who are complete beginners. Its aim is to show that it is possible to bring Yoga into your everyday life at any time; whether at home, on the train, sitting in an office, or even lying in bed!
The book will introduce Yoga and its benefits, history and different styles before going on to include information on: using Yoga as a preventative medicine; using Yoga for flexibility and back pain; using Yoga to reduce stress levels; Yoga for mums; Yoga for children, teachers and parents; Yoga to stay youthful and Yoga for the elderly.
