Dr Ashok Jhingan (Born. 1949), MBBS, M.D, (Medicine) has rendered his services as Senior Consultant Department of Medicine in various hospitals in Delhi. Presently, he is a Senior Director, obesity and Metabolic Department, BLK-MAX, Hospital New Delhi. “Diabetic who knows most, lives longest" has been Dr Jhingan’s Mantra.Since 1983 Dr Ashok Jhingan has been working dedicatedly in the field of Diabetes, emphasizing on the importance of Early Detection, Awareness and Education especially in a lifestyle disease like Diabetes. He has made his life's mission to not only improve the overall life quality of Type 1 Diabetes and to make their journey from Childhood to Adulthood a Happy one, by helping them transform into confident, empowered, successful individuals not crippled by fear of diabetes.Dr Kamalesh Jhingan (Born 1953), MBBS is a Medical Graduate from M.A.M.C. Delhi and has done Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE) from IGNOU. She has been actively involved in diabetes awareness and detection camps and contributed her valuable time in organizing peer support, group counseling for Type 1 Diabetic patients and their families. At present she is practicing as a family physician in Delhi.
