His wellness journey began in childhood, shaped by five formative years living in Colombia, South America-where the Standard American Diet was an alien idea. Raised in a strong Christian home environment that prioritized a vegetarian lifestyle, Sam developed a deep connection between his spiritual well-being and physical health.

A turning point came during the near-death experience of his younger brother, that ignited a deep spiritual awakening and signaled a transformative period in his life. Over the following decade, Sam came to see the importance of faith in the pursuit of wholistic healing.

This revelation ultimately led him to pursue other business opportunities, and in 2010, Sam left his architectural career to launch a fitness and health coaching business with his wife Ashleigh. This in turn led to him invest into a world-renowned wellness franchise known as Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) in Loma Linda, California.
