He was diagnosed with Parkinson's in December 2020 and in January 2021 a DaTSCAN confirmed this diagnosis. Although all doctors advised him to take medication, he decided against it and successfully embarked on a search for alternative healing methods and their application. These approaches led to his symptoms improving in autumn 2021 and remaining stable to this day. On 29 April 2024, he scored just 20 out of a maximum 199 points on the MDS-UPDRS scale. Around three years earlier, on 21 July 2021, his score was 18 points. This shows that he has halted the progression of Parkinson's disease with his methods for the time being. His results clearly exceed the expectations of conventional medicine. In his book, he shares his experiences with the alternative healing methods he has used himself in an understandable way. Tom Parkinson believes that it is a mistake to focus exclusively on one particular alternative healing method. Instead, the human body should be considered holistically in order to achieve effective healing. Every person is unique and therefore individual vulnerabilities must be taken into account. He hopes that his book will provide valuable insights for those affected and interested.
