Warum dieser Ratgeber? Die Ratgeber, die ich bisher aufgestöbert habe (und ich greife mir immer sofort jede Broschüre, die ich in den Auslagen finden kann, das ist ein kleiner Tick von mir ) erfassen nicht die Themen, die ich gebraucht hätte oder betonten Aspekte, die mich überhaupt nicht interessierten. Das war alles entweder viel zu medizinisch oder zu sachlich-technisch und vor allem viel zu unpersönlich. Das wollte ich alles nicht. Entweder machte ich gleich zu oder fühlte mich überrollt von all dem, was ich da las. Ich vermisste praxisnahe Schilderungen aus dem neuen Alltag, dem Alltag eines Patienten. Wo ist denn hier der Infoschalter bitte, fragte ich mich. Das war mein Problem. Es gab und gibt kein Informationsdesk, keinen Schalter, an dem Dir ein netter Mensch alle wichtigen Unterlagen zusammenstellt, die Dir gleich zu Beginn eine gro e Hilfe sein könnten. Anderen Betroffenen ging es sehr ähnlich. Wir fühlten uns alle hilflos, verunsichert und nur zufällig informiert. Manchmal kam sogar der erstaunte Satz vom Pflegepersonal: Ach, das wussten Sie nicht? Ich dachte, das wäre Ihnen bekannt. Die Diagnose ist das eine, die neuen Strukturen das andere. Besonders, wenn die Diagnose noch sehr frisch ist, wächst dir einfach alles über den Kopf, aber auch unseren Angehörigen und Lieblingsmenschen. Warum sagt mir das denn niemand? War nach dem ganzen Vor-mich-hin-Stolpern die Frage, die ich unzählige Male leicht entkräftet und kopfschüttelnd vor mich hingemurmelt habe. Was ich mit dem Ratgeber erreichen möchte: Ich möchte Dich und Deine Angehörigen besser durch eine herausfordernde Zeit bringen, Dir Entscheidungen leichter machen und Hintergründe erklären. Weniger Durchwursteln, mehr Durchblick, das ist das Ziel. Was kommt denn jetzt auf mich zu? Wie muss ich das regeln? Wen kann ich fragen und wie? Mein Wunsch: Diese oder ähnliche Fragzeichen auf Deiner Stirn sollen durch Antworten ersetzt werden, die Dich ruhiger werden lassen, Dir etwas von der Anspannung nehm
