Das Buch ist für alle, die Yoga lernen, üben oder unterrichten und die sich einfache aber anschauliche visuelle Notizen für ihre Praxis, ihren Unterricht oder ihre Yogalehrerausbildung erstellen möchten.


In dem Buch wird ein einfaches und leicht verständliches System vorgestellt, um die verschiedensten Yogahaltungen zu skizzieren. Das System ist einfach und schnell zu erlernen und erfordert kein künstlerisches Talent oder zeichnerische Vorkenntnisse.


Im ersten Teil werden die Grundlagen erklärt und gezeigt, wie man den menschlichen Körper as einfache Strichfigur zeichnet. Für jeden Körperteil, wie Arme, Beine, Hände, Fü e, Oberkörper und Kopf, werden die Grundhaltungen und deren Variationen gezeigt. Zudem wird erklärt, wie man ganze Sequenzen zeichnet und zusätzliche Informationen wie Bewegungen, Atmung und Hilfsmittel darstellen kann.

Der zweite Teil besteht aus einer Sammlung von 80 Asanas und deren Variationen. Pro Seite wird ein Asana behandelt. Es wird Schritt für Schritt gezeigt, wie man es zeichnet und es gibt Platz, die Haltung direkt nachzuzeichnen und zu üben.


Eva-Lotta hat selbst eine Hatha-Yogalehrerausbildung bei ihrem Lehrer Surinder Singh in Rishikesh, Indien gemacht. Während des Kurses hat sie selbst unzählige Asanas und Sequenzen gezeichnet, um alle Informationen aufzunehmen und zu verarbeiten. Dabei entstand die Idee für dieses Buch, das 2018 ursprünglich in englischer Sprache erschienen und jetzt zum ersten Mal auf Deutsch erhältlich ist.
