McCaulley, Margaret: - J.C. McCaulley was born in Cades Cove in 1929, and currently resides in Maryville, TN with his wife Margaret. Margaret puts her husband's recollections to paper, and is the author of the essays. J.C. worked as a heavy equipment operator and is now retired, and Margaret volunteers all of her time to the Cades Cove Preservation Association and the Blount County Public Library. Margaret, a native of England, came to the states permanently at age 22, after meeting J.C. on a blind date.
