Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Geschichte Deutschlands - Nationalsozialismus, Zweiter Weltkrieg, Note: 1,0, Christian-Albrechts-Universit�t Kiel (Historisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Proseminar Asozialit�t im Nationalsozialismus, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Lebensborn e.V. stellte sich als eine gemeinn�tzige Wohlfahrtsorganisation dar, die in erster Linie ein Entbindungsheim gewesen sein solle, bei dem die F�rsorge f�r die Kinder im Mittelpunkt gestanden habe. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit m�chte ich untersuchen, ob diese Darstellung der Wirklichkeit entspricht und �ber die tats�chlichen Vorgehensweisen berichten. Meine Fragestellung lautet daher: "Welche Funktion nahm der Verein innerhalb des rassenpolitischen und -ideologischen Systems des Dritten Reiches ein?" Zun�chst werde ich einen �berblick dar�ber geben, was der Verein Lebensborn war. Untersucht wird die Organisation des Vereins, die Ziele, sowie die Art und Weise der Verwirklichung der rassenhygienischen Leitlinien. Auch sollen die einzelnen Personengruppen identifiziert werden, welche im Verein t�tig oder in dessen Obhut waren. Die Einteilung dieser Personengruppen habe ich nach Geschlechtern vorgenommen, da eine andere Einteilung den Rahmen dieser Arbeit sprengen w�rde. Zudem werde ich die Nachkriegswirkungen und die gerichtliche Aufarbeitung darlegen. Abschlie end werden die psychologischen Folgen f�r die in den Heimen des Lebensborn e.V. aufgewachsenen Kinder aufgezeigt und ein Fazit �ber die Arbeit des Vereins gezogen. Als Quellen nutze ich haupts�chlich Werke der Autoren Benz, Seidler und Bryant. Auf dem Gebiet der Rassenhygiene und -ideologie sind sie f�hrende Historiker und haben sich schon intensiv mit der Thematik auseinandergesetzt. Problematisch hierbei ist jedoch, dass es insgesamt wenig Quellen und Aufzeichnungen zum Lebensborn gibt, da diese kurz vor der Befreiung und Aufl�sung des Vereins vernichtet worden sind. Zudem waren die meisten Kinder nur f�r etwa ein Jahr nach
