Dieser dogmatische Essay nimmt eine zentrale These zum Ausgangspunkt: Die Bulle Vox in excelso, mit der Klemens V. am 22. M�rz 1312 auf dem Konzil von Vienne den Orden des Tempels aufhob, war kein Endurteil, sondern eine provisio apostolica - ein administrativer Verwaltungsakt, ausdr�cklich non per modum diffinitivae sententiae erlassen. Vier Jahre zuvor, so bezeugt das 2001 wiederentdeckte und 2007 vom Vatikanischen Geheimarchiv ver�ffentlichte Pergament von Chinon, hatte derselbe Papst Jacques de Molay und die wichtigsten W�rdentr�ger pers�nlich losgesprochen und mit der Kirche vers�hnt.

Auf dieser dokumentarischen Grundlage entfaltet der Autor - Kassationsanwalt und promovierter Jurist - in sieben Kapiteln eine systematische Neulesung der Templerangelegenheit. Mit den Werkzeugen des klassischen kanonischen Rechts, des europ�ischen dynastischen Rechts und des italienischen �ffentlichen Rechts verfolgt er einen Faden, der von der Kreuzfahrerherrschaft Kerak im Lande Moab �ber die kaiserliche Familie Frigia d'Amorio bis zur Linie Mattani von Arezzo und zur zeitgen�ssischen Wiedervereinigung von dynastischer und ordensrechtlicher Kontinuit�t reicht.
