Zudem wurde als eklatante Stigmatisierung jener Personengruppe ihr Au enseitertum sichtbar gemacht. So sind in Geschichtsquellen zahlreiche Beispiele �berliefert, wie die Kennzeichnung von Bettlern, Prostituierten oder Scharfrichtern durch besondere Attribute oder Kleidungen. Diese reichen von den roten M�tze der Huren bis zum bunten Gewand des Henkers. Jenes Sichtbarmachen konnte sogar soweit f�hren, dass der Scharfrichter mittels eines Gl�ckchens akustisch seine N�he mitteilen musste, damit eine Begegnung mit diesem Au enseiter bemerkt und vermieden werden konnte. Angesichts jener Ma nahmen verbirgt sich in dem Thema der Randgruppen der sp�tmittelalterlichen Gesellschaft eine au erordentliche Gegenwartsrelevanz. Denn wie diese Arbeit zeigen soll, scheint jene Voreingenommenheit gegen�ber bestimmten Personenkreisen offenbar ebenso unausrottbar zu sein wie eingefressene Klischees gegen�ber diesen Randgruppen. So geh�ren die mittelalterlichen Nachreden gegen�ber den Ausgegrenzten zu Diskriminierungsformen, die noch heute im kollektiven Bewusstsein rudiment�r verankert sind, da uns in manchen F�llen die Abwertung dieser Randgruppen noch heute als plausibel erscheint. So ist es bis heute einleuchtend, dass man Henker, Schergen, Abdecker, Gassenkehrer anr�chig fand und solchen Leuten aus dem Weg ging, da sie mit M�rdern, Verbrechern, mit stinkenden Tierkadavern, mit Stra enschmutz zu tun hatten. Innerhalb dieser Arbeit soll daher jenem Umstand besondere Aufmerksamkeit zugedacht werden, um den Leser darauf zu sensibilisie
