From the fall of Qin and the rise of regional warlords to the legendary final stand at the Wu River, he brings to life the commanders, soldiers, and shifting alliances that transformed rebellion into empire. The book explores the tactical brilliance of Han Xin, the fierce charisma of Xiang Yu, and the calculated statecraft of Liu Bang as competing visions of leadership collided across the battlefields of ancient China.
