About The Author

Kelly Goodrich is a Realtor(R), practicing Real Estate in the Phoenix Arizona area. Kelly moved to Arizona from San Diego California in 1978. Kelly worked in construction while working his way through school. Kelly knew he wanted to practice Real Estate and got his license in the spring of 1979, at 20 he was one of the youngest Realtors(R) in Phoenix at the time. In the 1980's real estate was not fertile ground, so it was back to school for Kelly. Kelly was studying Business Administration and Accounting at Phoenix College, one of the required courses was Introduction to Data Processing. Kelly was drawn to the new field of computers and data processing, so it was time for another course correction. Kelly enrolled in a Computer Programming Program at Arizona Tech (Arizona Tech was acquired by a private technical school). After graduating Kelly pursued a long career in computer programming and software engineering. In 1999 Kelly was working as Product Marketing Manager for a Software company, looking towards the future Kelly, his older brother Mike and their friend Randy started a Home Inspection Company. In 2003, Kelly left the Software industry to work full time in the Home Inspection business. While working with the home inspection company he got his license as Home Inspector in Arizona, he also became a licensed Termite inspector and a Certified Residential Mold Inspector. Kelly spent most of his time with Marketing. Late in 2003 The Home Inspection Company to a national firm, Kelly stayed on with the company acting as the Arizona Area Marketing Manager. In 2006 Kelly left the Home Inspection Company to return to his first love working in Real Estate. Kelly actively invested in Real Estate while helping other investor find great deals in the market. By the end of 2007 the Real Estate Market was in shambles, Kelly worked hard to survive. As the market slowly came back Kelly found that he was working with a lot of first time home buyers. As a Software Engineer Kelly spent a great deal of time working with clients, training them to use the Software that the company sold, he realized he was a natural teacher. Teaching first time home buyers about home buying was at first a necessity quickly became a specialty and a source of pride for Kelly. Kelly is a natural fit for first time home buyers with good working knowledge of the home, home inspections and the home buying and selling process.
